Record crowd attends VAB 68th Annual Summer Convention (7/24/2005)

The Virginia Association of Broadcasters’ 68th Annual Summer Convention took place on June 23-25, 2005 at the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront.

For those who missed the convention, we had a record crowd. Herb Cohen, the featured speaker, did an excellent job and VAB staff heard many compliments on his program. The EEO seminar was well-attended by those who wanted to improve what they are doing in their stations, and a letter has been sent out to all who attended so that they will receive FCC credit.

Next year’s convention has been scheduled for June 15-17, 2006; more details will be posted at the VAB website.
